TPO Ban from September 1, 2025

One thing upfront: Our products have been completely FREE of TPO for many years.

In Switzerland, a sales and usage ban for all cosmetic products containing TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl-Diphenylphosphine Oxide) will come into effect on September 1, 2025.

TPO is a photoinitiator often used in gels and gel polishes. Due to its classification as a CMR substance category 1B (may impair fertility), it will be completely banned from that date.

What does this mean if you still have such products from other suppliers?

Until August 31, 2025, products containing TPO may still be used and sold.

From September 1, 2025, the sale and use of such products will no longer be allowed.

What should you do now?

Check your inventory for products containing TPO. (Our products are all TPO-free)

Plan in time to switch to our TPO-free products.
