How does the Aqua Facial Plus device work?

The Aqua Facial Plus device is based on a multi-step treatment that combines skin cleansing, peeling, hydration, and care.

Through the suction power, vacuum, special water flows as well as the appropriate liquids and application techniques a gentle yet highly effective facial cleansing and skin care is achieved.

Detailed description of the treatment steps

Microdermabrasion

During microdermabrasion the top skin layer and dead skin cells are gently removed to eliminate impurities. This prepares the skin optimally for the following treatment steps.

Step A: Preparation

AHA fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids) break down the bonds (the so-called cell glue) between dead skin cells and the skin surface. This facilitates their removal.

✔ AHAs are water-soluble and therefore act mainly on the skin surface.

Step B: Deep cleansing

BHA fruit acids (beta hydroxy acids) gently but thoroughly remove impurities and blackheads from the pores. BHA acids reduce excess sebum and help to minimize blackheads and pimples.

Additionally, they have anti-inflammatory properties that reduce redness and skin irritation.

✔ BHAs are fat-soluble and therefore act deep beneath the skin surface.

Step C: Hydration and glow boost

Fruit peptides are applied to the skin and gently massaged in. They stimulate the production of collagen and elastin which are responsible for the skin’s firmness and elasticity. This helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture.

In addition, fruit peptides contain antioxidants and secondary plant compounds that fight free radicals and protect the skin from premature aging.
